Happy October! I hope you're enjoying this somewhat icky, rainy, chilly

day. Not the best way to start the month, but I'll take this over the

GKN Weekly Update 9/20/10

Good morning to y'all on this lovely Monday morning! I've already been

to NYC and back for a recording session at NY Audio. It went really well

and I worked with a very talented & nice girl named Sol. That means

sun, ya know.

Last week was all about me getting back on track with diet, exercise,

Happy Labor Day!

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. I celebrated my birthday

one week early with a BBQ at my friend Jim's house. Good times, good

times!

Fall is unofficially here and I'm back on track! This summer was a bit

GKN Weekly Update 8/23/10

And a happy, damp Monday to y'all!

I am a pooped camper! I haven't stopped moving since last Wednesday. I had a VO in Interlaken,

NJ Thursday morning for a Homeland Security PSA. Then I drove straight

to Newark Airport to pick up my mom (yes, she has officially moved from

Florida!), then went to watch my friend's store in Denville until around

9:00 PM. What a day! All the time from then to now has involved the

Last week's work consisted mostly of retakes for the last two sci-fi audio books I

narrated for Infinivox: Mayflower II and The Political Officer. Retakes

usually are needed for a few reasons:

Technical Issues (feedback, low gain, static, etc.)

GKN Weekly Update 8/9/10

Happy Monday, campers! I just dropped off my car at the mechanic and

walked home. It was only about ten minutes but it felt I was crawling

under a chicken coop!

me for a project I helped them cast. As it turns out, the client hadn't

paid me yet because they were tallying up the total amount they owed me

GKN Weekly Update 7/26/10

Good morning, everyone! I hope your weekend was as fun as mine. Friday

night I attended a cancer fundraiser at the Shannon Rose in Clifton

which turned into a mini-Applebee's reunion (I worked there for five

years). Saturday we celebrated my best friend's 40th birthday at the

Greenhouse in Wayne. Sunday I helped my other best friend load in a huge

pile of furniture and boxes into her new apartment. Whew! I'm beat but

very happy...

Good morning on this humid and stormy day! I wasn't supposed to get to

this until late tonight, but the studio I'm supposed to go to this

morning lost power because of that nasty storm that just passed through.

Good morning everyone!

I hope everyone is staying cool on yet another sweltering day.

I've been using Microsoft Money for years to track my budget, generate invoices, etc. They don't make it anymore

and in January my version will expire so I searched for new financial

management software. After some serious deliberation, I got Quicken Home

& Business 2010. I'm still getting familiar with it but so far, so

Happy Independence Day! I hope everyone got their fill of hot dogs and

fireworks yesterday. I was invited to three BBQ's but I declined them

all. It was 90+ degrees yesterday and I am NOT good in the heat. Also

And a Happy 98 Degree Day to you! One of the perks of being

self-employed is that you only have to leave the house when you land a
