Well, I think there can definitely be different perspectives and I have even read in some trade news that game VO had some pay issues related to Union vs Non Union and residuals.  But having read about that, it wasn't that  the pay was not worth the hunt!  I just recently interviewed Dino Andrade (does a lot of game work) and he didn't tell me his income but I'm of the impression it would be nice to be in his shoes!  And of course, it always depends on volume of work too - doesn't it!!  ;o]

Tom - not sure where you are based but in America the voice acting in games is a terrific income if you can get it.  It's like any other acting, if you can get it, it's great work.  Why do you think it's not the best paid gig?

I've only had a little taste of the the video game voice acting world thus far. I would really love to do more. Video game voiceovers may not be the best paid gig in the vo industry (at least that's wht I'm told), but it's not really about the money is it? :)
